The ambitious Birchington Literary Festival took a ‘holiday’ in 2024, although it is very much our intention to run successful events, BirchLit in its previous form will not be replicated. Various future events are being explored, so watch here for announcements.
However, a related one-off, event has already been confirmed and we are very excited. Sue Kent from BBC’s ‘Gardeners World’ will be a feature speaker in Birchington on 7th August 2025. Sue is a charismatic and inspiring presenter/author who will give her insights as to how to make the most of your time in the garden, no matter what challenges you may face.
